♦ ABOUT THE SCHOOL

This year’s seminar will explore one of the most ambiguous and vigorously debated topics of contemporary culture: the relationship between religion and violence. Are religions accidentally or essentially violent? Or on the contrary, are they or some of them the only authentic sources of peace and reconciliation? In discussion with other major religions, especially Islam, it is the Christian proposal that will be investigated from a theological, philosophical, sociological and political perspective in the seminars and in the keynote lecture.As in previous years, we invite students to enter into a week of dialogue and learning in Granada, a breathtakingly beautiful city that lies at the historical crossroads of modernity and the Christian tradition.

♦ ORGANIZATION AND FEES

The seminars will take place on Monday to Friday for four hours each day. Participants are required to enroll in all of the seminars. Accommodation will be provided in a villa with a swimming pool and gardens offering both sun and shade. The location offers 48 twin and double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a large conference room and a chapel.
